Did I Neeeeed This Flat Iron? In A Word: Yes.

Reader, let me introduce you the Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Ion Flat Iron.
It’s getting cold where I am and it’s definitely not the season for me to pull a Wash N’ Go on my hair like I do in the warmer months, that is, if I’m not trying to catch pneumonia in the freezing cold with a wet head, feel me? Can’t afford to be sick. I’m going back into the 9-to-5 world in a few weeks, and now I have a kid. Do kids allow you sick days? I think not.
So it’s time for me to find tools that will help me tame the wild beast that is my hair. I did some research this morning and I decided, OK, I will invest in this ceramic flat iron and give it a shot. The flat iron cost me $98.00 USD. Ouch. I know. But I’ve read good things about it so I want to put it to the test. You with me?
OF COURSE, you knowwww I’m going to do a product review on this very blog as soon as I get it and try it out with full details, so watch this space…

Hey girl, I think for the price its a great iron. I bought that one initially, but ended up selling it to a friend and buying a Sedu! Definite upgrade, but again, not a bad iron.

Hi Yaya,
Yeah, I was back and forth between that one and the Sedu. And it wasn’t really just the price thing that finalized my decision, I was more reading the reviews and most said the Solia had bigger bang for the buck.
But I’ll try it out. If it can tame my hair, I know I’ll have a winner…But I already know I will change it for a Sedu if I’m not pleased w/the outcome (lol)…We’ll see…
