Fall 2007 Trend - Chunky Heels?
I’m seeing a whole lotta thick & chunky heel action going on at a couple websites lately. My first reaction was “Oh God, no!! Not chunky heels again!”
But they’re back. And, now that I’m seeing them more and more… I dunno y’all… I think they’re growing on me… A teeny bit? Teensy weansy bit? This pair caught my eye:
Then as I hit the “Add to Shopping Bag” button I thought to myself, “How in the blue blazes would I WALK in them?!? While holding a 20lbs, 8 month old baby at that!?!” Nuh uh. I think I’ll just admire from afar. *Hit the ‘remove’ button while sighing*

Ummm…. I say No… I like heels but I have a limit in height and all these are too high for me.

I don’t mind a high heel if I’m going out, but for day to day, definitely not. This chunky heel thing takes some getting used to, too… make sense?
So Kawana, I take it that your vote is “Hell to the No?” LOL!

too chunky for me. I like stacked heels but not that stacked, yah know.

I like high heels but the chunky-ness of these isn’t very flattering, IMHO. I love the colors though!

I think a chunky heel should be limited to things like flats or the two inch high classics.
I am a stainless steel stiletto woman through and through!
