Form Fitting Maternity - The Jersey Dress
Here’s Halle Berry on Weds Sept 5th after having lunch with her Mom (in Brentwood, CA). Wow. That baby bump just popped since her announcement, huh? (Hmmm…Three months pregnant? ONLY? Really???? OK…)

Again, I always vowed ‘never’ to talk about those celebutante chicks, but meh…well, you know me and that word, ‘never’… Anyhoo, she’s another one whose pregnancy style I’m watching closely. Notice a trend here? I do. It’s the ‘jersey dress’. What’s great with these is that you gals can wear these preggers or not, obviously wearing the style most appropriate for the climate/season (though it is better to wear this fabric in milder summer temperatures. Since summer is over for us colder climate Hot Mamas, stock up now and rock your jersey dresses next summer! Loads of summer clearance sales going on right now–everywhere).
If you’re expecting, honey, let that belly show! Be proud of it! If you’re not expecting and still have a belly anyway (like I do *eek!*) well…um…get yourself some SPANX and you’re all good to go! Why should we miss out on the fun?
Unfortunately (for me), they are wearing Jersey tank dress by Rick Owens Lilies,
which, if you can find it (it’s sold out most places), will cost you around $320.00 USD. Yes. You read right. Which is fine if you are a luxury item fashionista, but um, for folk like yours truly, uh…I’ll stick to our Same Look for Less thank you very much. Therefore, shall we begin?
My great find was (as usual) though Amazon.com. They had the American Apparel racerback style dress for $10.99 USD! Run! Run! Run!

You can transform these dresses however you like. Dress ‘em up or down (pun intended). These dresses will look good with flip flops, pumps, flats–whatever! You can also add a cardigan (like Nicole did) or add a cute wrap/shawl if, let’s say, you’re going out to dinner w/your significant other. Christina Aguilera wore hers this past March with a leather jacket and some patent pumps. Check her out sucking in her tummy (pre-pregnancy bump of course. C’mon. We all know she’s expecting. Def not a secret anymore!) Ha! Looks good though. I won’t lie:
