If Angelina “Cannes” Do It, So “Cannes” I
I have a thing for black lace. Wait. That didn’t sound right. What I meant was, I really love articles of clothing with black lace in them??? Meh, doesn’t sound much better, but it’ll do for the purposes of my post. My point is this: Angelina Jolie wore a lovely black lace babydoll dress at the premiere of her new film, A Mighty Heart in Cannes, France this week.
Her dress was actually a vintage black lace sheath from Decades. Therefore, since it’s a vintage dress, it basically means you can’t just waltz into any old store to buy it. However, you know your girl P is gonna hook you up with how you can get this look for less. Here we go:
I paired a Julia Clancey “Ava Ribbon” Dress with some accessories and rsvp “Ally” peep-toe pumps. The dress is 149GBP which is almost $300 USD. If that’s too pricey, we can try the following dress by Rampage:
The dress is $68.00 USD on Rampage’s website. Again, I would use the rsvp “Ally” peep-toes with the dress because they look almost like the pair Angelina wore:
Throw on a beautiful wrap across your back/shoulders, and you’re all set!
So now I showed you how you can acheive the same look as Angelina, now if someone could show me how to snag a Brad Pitt, I’d be all set (just kidding Hubby! Uh, I think? ;) )

Yes, hotter b/c he has those kids. Talk about Hot Papa! He DEFINITELY got hotter with fatherhood. Hands down. And “work” or not, heck, I’d still take him –um I mean, I’d still LOOK at him :-D
