Katie Holmes : Flats with a Glamour Gown?

OK, big deal, so she looks like she’s carrying a teeny bump. I’m so not focused on that. I’m salivating over that DRESS! How nice is that dress?!

While admiring the dress, I, of course scroll down to check out the shoes (GOTTA check the shoes) and saw–gasp!–she’s wearing flat sandals with it! Hmmm…I was unsure at first, but you know what? I kinda dig it. Kinda ‘greek goddess-y’ but all in black. And anyway, it’s not like she had a friggin’ choice. Look at how tall The Hubby is. Poor thing…

C’mon tell me: Would you wear flats with a fancy gown?

I SSOOO like the style… In my early months of being preggo, I had to attend a wedding and I had my dress with fly heels that I had planned to wear it with…well, my feet were hurting and I made a last minute change by wearing barely-there classy greekish flats at the wedding and reception also… I think I got more compliments than the bride!

I don’t think I personally can rock that style, but there is no denying that Katie is doing it well. The hair, the dress and the shoes, just fit! She looks amazing and has grown up so much since those Dawson Creek days!

It’s not a look I’d rock normally,but it works for some reason. I really like it.

And Yaya I agree that Katie’s come a loonnnng way since Dawson’s Creek (Dammit, now I can’t get the theme song outta my head! ARRGGH!)

i have a greek heritage & i love doing this look 4 a glam apperance. Now hollywood r catching on, this look wouldnt b complete with heels. she is tactfully doing this look, but logically isnt a giant compared 2 her weirdo husband.
