Me: ‘Truly Outrageous’ in my 80s Tee
Yes, I am a grown-@$$ 30 year old woman, wife, and mother. And I am not ashamed to tell you all that I purchased this JEM and The Holograms tee from 80stees.com yesterday. I canNOT wait to get this in the mail. And because I’m such a thoughtful wife and to justify this purchase to my husband, I bought Hubby a Masters Of the Universe tee he always fancies himself to be like He-Man anyway, so I’ll play along. Besides it was on clearance for $9.99!
Although we were not technically born in the 80s (we’re ‘76 and ‘77 babies respectively), we did spend our entire childhoods in the 1980’s, so that counts doesn’t it? Anyhoo, I loved just about all the 80’s cartoons and I adored JEM. What girl DIDN’T think they were a part of that band (or part of The Misfits, if you had to be a ‘bad girl’)?
So go ahead. Take a lil’ trip down memory lane and visit the site. Lots of cool tees (that you could dress up or down depending on your mood). Just stay far away from the Aqua-Net and hair teasing combs. This is a warning…
