Mommy Makeup
For those of you who follow my personal blog you all know that I am dreading counting down the days ’til I return to the workforce in November, after having a glorious one year off on maternity leave (Ohhhh Caaanadaaaa! One of the perks of moving to Canada- hee!) Anyway, I am shopping like a beast getting my work wardrobe back in effect, which is fun, but the rest of the experience is going to be hard. For example, this week my husband and I are practicing our ‘morning routine’ as it will be starting next week when my 8 month old begins day care. It’s chaos. Who is going to get baby ready? Who is going to feed him? Who gets to shower first, etc, etc.
All this just to say that I’m learning as a new mom, TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE! You can’t afford to waste a precious second in the morning lest you/your partner/your child will be late to wherever it is you have to go. Feel me? And that’s a no-no for those who have a 9-5 to report to (as I will again soon.. Ugh..Le sigh)
Which brings me to my point (because yes, I have one). Introducing Mommy Makeup! My fellow b5media Beauty & Style blogging sister, Shannon Nelson (and new Mommy for the 4th time!) recently did a feature on this makeup line by award winning NYC-based (woo hoo!) makeup artist Debra Rubin-Roberts.
What’s so special about the line? Well, as Shannon herself said:
