Original Hunter Wellington Rain Boot

So I did it. After MONTHS (seriously) of contemplating, putting the item in my virtual shopping cart, deleting it, thinking about it, flip-flopping between wanting them and then trying to stay in the real world, I just took the plunge and bought a pair of Hunter brand’s “Original” Wellington rain boot in red at ShopBop.

I did pay wayyy more than I ever would normally on rain boots though, *drumroll*… $98.00 USD (Zappos is selling them for $99.00). I went with ShopBop b/c they’re the only ones who had my size in red.)

Ouch on the price. I know, I know. Truth be told, I reallyyy wanted a plain pair of RED rain boots (no design on them) and I wanted something that will last me years and years and years. Did a lot of research and kept coming back to Hunter’s boot. So I did it. And for the price I paid YOU BETTA BELIEVE I will be doing a thorough product review for you gals on this very blog. Stay tuned…

For you readers out there who want to buy a pair of rain boots right now (and wouldn’t dare pay as much as I just did–I don’t blame you!), I did a reader’s request on rain boots a few months back and offered some budget priced comparisons.

If you do decide to also get a pair of Hunter’s Original rain boot, *ORDER A SIZE SMALLER* than you’d normally wear. They tend to run large. Also, if you can’t find the boot in your size and color in Women’s, check the Men’s section, but remember to order the right shoe/boot size for you (and still order a size DOWN).
