Shade Clothing

You know, being a Hot Mama doesn’t necessarily mean you have to dress in an overtly provocative or ’super trendy’ manner. Nope. Not at all. “Hot Mama-ness” (yes, another Pascalle made-up word and I’m going to start charging those who use it!) is all a state of mind. That’s right. It’s all about what you make it. You can be a hot mama in a cute tank top with some jeans and sandals. Being “hot” in a mother’s world doesn’t have to mean “sexy”. There’s plenty of room for modesty. Which brings me to the retailer I want to talk about today, Shade Clothing. Check out how this company came to be (per their About page):

“The idea for Shade Clothing came to Chelsea Rippy of American Fork, UT, after one of many frustrating shopping trips (Pascalle adds: Um, isn’t that it ALWAYS starts?). As had happened so many times before, she spent hours scouring clothing racks looking for items that were stylish without being too revealing. Fed up with her unsuccessful attempts to find hip, modest clothing, Chelsea decided to take matters into her own hands. She spent one year designing and developing a line of stylish, essential undershirts with the goal of giving women exactly what they need to dress modestly, comfortably and fashionably.”
