Ever heard of The Wrap dress from Butter by Nadia? Well if you haven’t, fret not, you know I gotcha covered. I’ll tell you right off the bat this is one of the smartest fashion items I’ve seen in a long time.

Some of Brooklyn-based (Go Brooklyn!!) designer Nadia Tarr’s celebrity clientele list includes Naomi Watts, Sarah Jessica Parker and Rosie Perez just to name a few. And what’s the item these celebs are wearing from Ms. Tarr? Her Signature Wrap Dress. Check it out:

Now I see some of you blinking like, “OK, $225 bucks for THAT?! What is the big deal? It’s a simple dress!” Simple, yes, but here’s what the big deal is–better yet, I’ll pull a quote from Benny + Shaw’s online boutique and let it do the talking for me:

Got a wedding to go to? You can wear this dress. Meeting the girls at the club? No worries! You got the perfect dress/skirt. Got a babysitter already booked and ready for your hot date, fine! You’ve got JUST the thing to wear! And what if you’re already out and need to dress up or down to go somewhere unexpected (with no time to run home to change?). If you’re wearing this dress/skirt, you can just run into the ladies room and switch it up!! Feel me? I mean, really, can you go wrong with this?
