THE Secret to hiding that post-baby tummy: TUNICS!
Alright. I get it. I know some of you read this blog and think, “This chick can’t be serious. Mini-dresses?! Four inch heels?! What mother in real-life (and in her right mind) dresses like that?” Or how about those of you that think, “Ugh. Pascalle, please. Skinny jeans? I’m a mother of (insert number here), OK? Cut it out.” Well, first off, I never said I was in my right mind. And second, the point of this blog (and I’ll repeat this often) is: ALL mothers are beautiful as is! BUT! (yes, and that’s a big BUT, kinda like the one that grew on you during your pregnancy) we can stay beautiful and fashionable post-pregnancy no matter what shape or size we are! Got that? Good. Now on to today’s lesson…
There’s a good reason behind my rambling today. And that is to say that I don’t live in a fantasy world, and I DO understand that realistically we can’t always wear everything we’d like. I for one don’t think it’s cute for a woman to be squeezed into a top/dress/pants that is obviously too small for her. Or have anything hanging out that is not supposed to hang out. Feel me? A hot mama knows how to cover her *clearing throat* extras. And in using myself as an example, I’m not crazy about the “extra-ness” hanging about my lower abdomen. Not hot. So I have the answer ladies: loose front tunic tops. They’re all the rage right now and oh-so fashionable. And for my ladies who are expecting, they are PERFECTLY maternity friendly. Let’s take a look, shall we?
U likey? I do too. Let’s keep going…
Now, I’m not suggesting you rock these tops as mini-dresses (*blushing*) but I will say you can do that, if you wanted to, that is… *Blinking innocently* What? What’d I say? :-D

I hear you. Glad that they have come back into style. After 2 vertical C-sections, this covers what used to be a perfectly flat stomach. :)

Hey Ma,
I totally agree with you! I did the skinny jeans weeks after popping my daughter, Ava-Sol out. Not too sure about shorts, muchless short dresses. I need to tone them thighs first off. LOL!
My most recent secret, for a smooth under garment fit is SPANX. SPANX maks it all firm and smooth underneath HOT clingy dresses.

Hah I love this. I’m not a mom but I understand the need to uh, hide stuff. ;) Great choices!
I also have to back up Spanx. You can’t go wrong with ‘em. I mean who wants to suck in their stomach all day long? Not me! lol Hell even Oprah uses it.
